Czech Republic – Krumau (Krumlov)

This truly tiny town in the outback of the Czech Republic was completely unknown to the outside world up until a short while ago. Meanwhile, through a mix of clever restoration and marketing, this place has developed into a must visit destination in Europe and it is truly amazing to see how tourists from all around the globe are finding their way here. So, let’s go inside and see what it is, thaey all come to see…

The Emperors in the days knew how to live in style:
Although one might question their style once the feast is over:
But by and large, not a poor man’s dwelling for sure
And well protected so, these cuddly fellows are not Teddybears for sure …

So, let’s see what today’s Krumau looks like.
Look closely at the signage below and you’ll see that it makes perfect sense:

Little alleyways, typical for this town:
Small shops, cramped with goodies and snacks of all kind:
A nice day trip well worth it, though we caught a rainy day. So, likely we’ll be back another year!
