Sunday Afternoon Stroll at Intramuros and Manila Bay

Today we decided to explore some of the culture surrounding Manila and to get a better understanding of the country and the people. What better place to start but Intramuros …It is the oldest district in Manila and you can spend hours wandering around. So, wear comfortable shoes, bring along a hat/cap and your sunglasses…you do want to look cool for your selfie! And…yes, be aware!On the rooftop of Casa Manila. At the Plaza De Roma. Behind us is the Manila Cathedral. We decided to walk along the bay and enjoy the sights, sound and sunset!And then, we saw this man. We read about him in early January while we were still living in Bangkok. His name is Lito Eredia, a man who considers the Bay Walk his home for many years and he feeds stray cats. He has about 27 of them!And this one has caught Harald’s attention! Selfie at sunset along the Bay Walk!
